Beth Kessenich is a writer, creative producer, and media executive who currently lives between New York & Paris. Over the last decade, Beth has been working in the fast paced media industry; beginning her career at Good Morning America/ABC News. At GMA, she learned a great deal about the television industry as a Production Coordinator, and was part of the 2013-2014 *Emmy Win* for Outstanding Morning Program. She then became the Executive Assistant and Associate Producer to media mogul, Soledad O'Brien, at her production company Starfish Media Group. At SMG, the small team of under 10 people produced several documentaries for CNN, PBS, Al Jazeera America and others. Beth then joined the well respected Guardian News & Media Group as the Chief of Staff to the CEO. Beth worked closely with the US CEO on The Guardian’s expansion into the US market opening offices in New York, Washington DC, and San Francisco at the time. Following her time at The Guardian, Beth decided to pursue a Masters Degree at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2017 & 2018. During that time she worked in a freelance capacity with Conde Nast where she was a producer for Vanity Fair's weekly live show called The Hive. At Vanity Fair she booked some of the biggest names across Politics, News, and Entertainment and co-wrote and produced the one hour show each week. She also worked in a freelance capacity for Conde Nast Entertainment where she was part of a team that developed series ideas and branded content campaigns for CNE's New Platforms division. She then became a Supervising Producer and the Director of Branded Content at Brut. Media where she led all partnerships for the US and execution on branded content campaigns for advertising clients. For the last three years, Beth has worked at Cheddar News starting as a Director of Brand Partnerships and then was promoted to Sales Manager of the Cheddar Sales team. She was tasked with bringing in revenue and growing Cheddar News’ advertising partnerships. In 2024, Beth is taking on an exciting role on with a4 Advertising (also part of Altice USA) where she will be focused on political & public affairs advertising during the 2024 US Presidential election.
When she isn’t working, Beth can be found traveling the world, playing golf, skiing, running, and spending time on the beaches of eastern Long Island where her family is.
