Lindsay Abromaitis-Smith is an artist, writer, and storyteller living with the disease ALS. ALS affects about 30,000 people at any given time in the US. There is currently no treatment or cure for this disease. This film explains how the combination of the Ice Bucket Challenge, an increase in government spending on medical research, and a new approach to data is bringing the possibility of a treatment or cure faster then ever before.
